February 6, 2017 will mark the 65th anniversary of Her Majesty The Queen's ascession to the thrones of the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and of the territories which would become the remaining 12 Commonwealth realms. She has given a lifelong example of service, dignity and grace to which all her subjects, and indeed the world beyond her realms, can aspire.
Long may she reign.
(given recent events, I'm sure there are more than a few Americans who are rethinking the wisdom of that whole 1776 thing)
