Is this another click bait quiz that doesn't tell me my score unless I provide my contact info?

Not bad for a baby of the 70s - a lot of that language was used by my older siblings and their friends, and on Welcome Back Kotter, etc.

I still say 'don't bogart that joint, my friend!'

Hippie Lingo Quiz
23 out of 30!

Like, WOW! Far out man... what a loser I was. I suspect my low score indicates I was merely a poser and not a bona fide member of the counterculture.

I used to refer to myself as an "establishment hippie." I somehow remained fully employed and always had my own money for "sex, drugs, and rock n' roll." BTW -- I am one of only a few within my circle of "friends"
who NEVER mainlined a drug. (Yet still got Hep-C.) Other than that nothing that was smokeable, edible, or snortable, was off the table. IIRC.

I survived the '60s. Many that I knew did not. Strange times.

28/30...most were incredibly easy.

28/30 ... like the people say, if you remember the '60s you didn't live them.  Since I was still in my early teens during the Hashbury days, I was too young to actually live them but old enough to know about them.

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

The most popular score? 28/30

All that "don't remember the 60s" thing is a funny joke but not all that accurate. The Haight was cool from mid 66 to the end of 67, a little over a year. The 60s were pretty straight until about 65/66 and the high then went into the early 70s. Woodstock was in 1969; Altamont in December 1969. I didn't do enough naughty smokey things in the early 70s to forget the 60s. I knew some people who barely remembered their own name but that was true in the Hoop and Grapes of a Friday night too.

I finally got to Haight Ashbury in 1974. It was depressing and raining. I left for Phoenix.
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

28/30, and I wasn't born until the later 60s, so I don't remember it well either.

Me all three.

Hodad = "Kook" which is a term of derision still in use by surfers for people who don't surf.

And that's the news from "Surf City USA".
