The municipal swimming pool in our community, which was originally constructed during the Roosevelt Administration under the auspices of the WPA, is again in need of repairs, and the city fathers have decided to replace it rather than try to patch up the old infrastructure.  So last night, after I got home from work, someone came to the door asking for donations for the new pool.

I gave them a bottle of water.

Sadly, unlike in Caddyshack, they do not float (I won't tell you how I know).
