Sunday Night Mystery Movies

Post by TPFKA@W »

Prime has available under IMDB some of the original Mystery Movie content, Columbo, McCloud, McMillian and wife, and Banacek. I was catching a few of them last night because I couldn't sleep. I still love them. That led me to remembering Mancini's opening which was memorable on its own.

Pink Panther Theme; Peter Gunn Theme; "Baby Elephant Walk" (from Hatari!); The Great Race film score; even the theme to Newhart.
Name me something Mancini wrote that WASN'T outstanding.

Go ahead; I'll wait.....

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

Bill--I couldn't stand the Baby Elephant Walk (from Hatari); not quite as bad as the (not from Mancini) It's a Small World, but close. Part of this was due to my parents loving and overplaying it, but, at the very least, it is not outstanding IMHO.
