I love the last touch, that I'm getting this money because I was the victim of a scam. So what they are hoping, is that someone who has already been scammed will respond to this and be scammed again. I guess they figure that it's best to aim for an already soft target.

I would have thought that the use of the masculine pronoun — 'contacting him' — when the alleged benefactor/dispenser is supposedly a female ('Jennifer') would be another sign that this wasn't exactly on the level ... but since we've become a society where individuals can decide for themselves what gender they are (male, female, both, neither, other, some, many, and 'to be determined depending upon circumstances') and which pronoun they prefer (he, she, they, it, whatever), that's no longer as much of a tip-off as it might have been.
