I always got a very creepy vibe from him, and that is a Freudian slip if ever I've heard one.
For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.

PS - an oft heard lamentation of the pedophile offender in prison-based sexual offender counseling: "I can't help it, I was born this way."
