That is the thought that crosses my mind every time I listen to Type O Negative. For those of you that don't know they are/were a goth metal band from the '90s. Competent musucuans decent vocals and lyrics so God-awfully hackneyed to the Genre that if you didn't know that they were doing it on purpose you'd want to vomit.

THe odd fact is at the time I don't think anyone even noticed. Despite the fact that if anyone actullay listened to their biggest hit "Black No.1 (little miss scare-all)" it's obvious that they're mocking their own fan base complete with musical cues to the themes form both The Addams Family and The Munsters.
