Iron man adventurer Richard Parks has climbed in to the record books by completing the final leg of his remarkable 737 Challenge.
The courageous former Wales rugby international reached the summit of Mount Elbrus in Russia at 8.53am British time today – meaning he has conquered the highest peaks on all seven continents and trekked to both the North and South Poles in just seven months.
Speaking from the summit, the intrepid adventurer said the achievement had not yet sunk in.

Parksy completes 737 challenge!!
Wales ex-international Richard Parks has completed an astonishing challenge having climbed the highest peaks on all 7 continents including Everest in addition to walking to both the North and South poles and all in just 7 months!! He's done it pretty much non stop despite having had frostbite - its one heck of an acheivement I hope he raises the £million he hoped to raise to cap it all off.
If you can keep your head while those around you are losing theirs, you may have misjudged the situation.
