She's a Columbian beauty Queen, and people are "very upset" that she isn't wearing knickers? Has the world gone mad?Miss Universe officials have a message for Catalina Robayo, Colombia's entry into Monday's contest: Don't forget to wear underwear.
Robayo, one of 89 beauties from around the world competing to win the Donald Trump-owned contest, has been reprimanded for making appearance in tiny skirts - with no panties.
"Colombia had to be spoken to and told she needed to wear underpants as what she was doing was totally inappropriate," a source told Fox News. "People have been pretty upset by it; there have been photos and media appearances where she has completely had her crotch out."
The contest, being held in Sao paulo, Brazil, might benefit from controversy, but going commando goes too far.
"Our supervisors talked to all of the contestants about dressing appropriately, and one of our PR people spoke to [Robayo] and apparently she said she was wearing underwear, said Miss Universe President Paula Shugart. "But regardless, it created quite a stir here for a few days."
The pageant earlier returned bikini bottoms from sponsor Catalina Brasil Swimwear after they were ruled too skimpy for network television.
The contest airs Monday at 9 pm ET.

Pictures or it didn't happen!

Personally, I don’t believe in bros before hoes, or hoes before bros. There needs to be a balance. A homie-hoe-stasis, if you will.

So everyone was upset because they couldn't get a good enough angle to see up her skirt?

More lunacy!
Some of the contestants have complained to the local news media about the size of bikinis used in some photo shoots, with Miss Mexico Karin Ontiveros saying they were "very small".
That was enough to draw chuckles in Brazil, where women from all walks of life, not just beauty queens, sport barely there swimwear on beaches throughout the country.
Miss Cayman Islands Cristin Alexander seemed to side with local custom, however, stating in a video posted on the Miss Universe website that she thinks "the body is a beautiful thing and I think it's great we get to celebrate that by wearing little bikinis".

If they needed to get brazilians, at least they were in the right place.

Former The L-Word star Leisha Hailey complained in a stream of Twitter messages yesterday that she and a girlfriend were kicked off a Southwest Airlines flight in a dispute over their kissing on a plane.
Hailey, 40, tweeted that a flight attendant had told her that Southwest "was a 'family' airline and kissing was not ok," and that she and her companion were then "escorted off the plane for getting upset about the issue."
"SouthwestAir endorses homophobic employees," she tweeted. "Since when is showing affection towards someone you love illegal? I want to know what Southwest Airlines considers a 'family.'"

She went on to tweet: "Boycott SouthwestAir if you are gay. They don't like us."
Hailey, who starred on Showtime network's The L-Word as Alice, a bisexual magazine writer and radio host, also demanded a public apology.
The airline issued a statement saying initial reports it received about the incident "indicate that we received several passenger complaints characterizing the behavior as excessive."
