Two Earth Quakes In One Day....

Post by Lord Jim »

We've had two relatively small but definitely noticeable earth quakes today, which is pretty unusual.... the first one this afternoon, the last one just a few minutes ago....(the last time I remember that happening was a few days before the '89 quake)

Just as there are "after shocks" prior to a larger quake, there are also frequently "pre-shocks"...

I think I'll spend a little time checking our earth quake emergency cache (especially the batteries for the radios and flashlights)

Best of luck Jim, don't let the earth swallow you up.

Stay safe Jim.
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

Harold Camping sez that tomarrow, October 21, 2011 is the end of the world.

What's a few earthquakes?

btw: I was in Layfayette tonite and felt the 2nd one.

Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

I was in Concord for the first... albeit a passenger in a truck; and I felt nada.

The aftershock was whist I was heading home on BART, and again nada.

These are miniscule in comparison to what the San Andreas can offer- what's the big deal?
