Well thank God for that....
There's nothing I look for more in an airport when I'm traveling than the quality of the stores....
Hell, if the shopping is good enough at the airport, you don't even have to be bothered with going into the town...
Dale, I'd bet that Beijing Capital International Airport has a fairly robust security presence....No US airports?
Why?
TSA.

Re: Top Ten Airports.
There's a reason that retail stores exist in airports, it's because they know that people with time on their hands will spend some of it (along with their money) shopping. There's a level of Amsterdam Schipol that's nothing but retail - it's like going to the mall.

Re: Top Ten Airports.
Well having been to most of them I think Seoul, HK and Singapore are well deserving. Caveat: HKI is nowhere near as exciting to land on as the old Kai Tak "watch the neighbours sitting on the loo" landings downtown. Second Caveat: they must have done something wild to the approach roads to Seoul because that used be worse than taking the M25 to get to Heathrow - must have carpet-bombed all the Korean drivers. Still I suppose the survey is about one you get there - not how difficult it is to achieve a sane and safe arrival
