Re: Talk About Disgraceful Revisionism....
Looks like another snorefest packed with CGI.
Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

Re: Talk About Disgraceful Revisionism....
This looks not so much like revisionism but rather just a prequel, which deals with events not mentioned in the previous movie because they happened long before that story started. It actually looks to me like it might be sort of interesting....
(Or by "revisionism" do you simply mean that there are different actors playing the parts of the Wizard and the witches...?)
ETA: You are aware, aren't you, that long before the 1939 movie there were 14 books about the land of Oz written by L. Frank Baum (and numerous sequels written by others after his death)?...and that elements of that movie (most notably the "it was all just a dream " ending) were in fact "disgraceful revisionism" of Baum's work by the producers of the movie?

People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right. The only difference is, they're wrong.

Revisionism?
Complete and utter fiction...
Complete and utter fiction...
Sometimes it seems as though one has to cross the line just to figger out where it is

What Econoline said.
Frank Baum was one tripped out guy. The Oz books are completely weird and have a cult following of the even weirder (I dated one, once).
And other than Judy Garland's magnificent voice, I hate the Wizard of Oz, too.
