BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Comment not on LJ's stupid graphic (sorry, LJ) but on certain persons having the temerity to label anyone else 'impatiently needy'.

Grieving a loss is never done, but wallowing is never healthy. I still miss my first dog, 6+ years after losing him. But I went on with the pursuits of my life immediately after his passing. My concern for Garaelb was why I posted asking if anyone had been in touch with him off-board. I am glad Hen has sent a note; I hope she gets a reply.

This isn't really about CSB, though after Steve's last comment to Gar, I wouldn't be surprised if he did decide the board wasn't worth the trouble.

I am definatley not contacting him for the CSB.

I am contacting because I care for him and would like to know he is travelling well.

I won't bother joining in with Lo's little shit-bitch. She can have her drama and conflict all by herself. God knows she craves it.

In my lifetime I have lost three cats, Tweazle, Beau, and Tiger - aka Mr Potato-head and Russel (called that because it only took the rustle of a chip packet to bring him running) and one dog, Jarrah. The loss of each one tore a hole in my heart. Often I still feel their presence. But that also seems to diminish with time. None of them will be forgotten.

Okay, then that time was less than six months; or else you're hypocrisizing.

What? :loon

"Hypocrisize" is NOT a word Lo.

Try and explain, in words you actually understand, what you are trying to say here?

If you are calling me a hypocrite, then you will also have to explain what I have said which was hypocritical.

Cool, and how is that patient travel agent, stewardship going?

Or; are you pressing him to address YOU, now?

My enquiries into the G's journey is going very well.

I have not pressed the G in any aspect of my contact with him.

I hope that satisfactorily addresses your concerns.

Now, my previous question to you remains if you can focus on it.

Have you worked out what you were talking about when you blibbered on about hypocrisizing? Were you ineptly trying to call me a hypocrite? If so, on what grounds do you make this judgement?

Very good, a hypocrite hypocrisizes.

Like saying, 'I hope he's traveling well' and

Over three months to grieve an animal is not healthy.

Either that or he could watch an amusing animal abuse video. That should make is all better.
All-in-all that's hypocrisy.

No. It isn't 'hypocrisizing' as it isn't a word.

I also was not being a hypocrite in regards to my concern for the depth that the G appears to be grieving over Joxer. That is called concern

Still I shouldn't expect a poster of such little brain to understand that.

BTW - counsellor was spelt correctly dear.

He seemed in a fine mental state. I no longer have concerns about him pining away for Joxer.

He is keeping very busy at work as he is one of the last programmers employed there.

He will be coming back to resurrect the CSB and this time he will be doing what he wants, which was heartening to hear.

The rest of our exchange was general Hen/G tin-kicking, which was nice to do with the G once more.

The G-Man has posted again on the CSB confirming the above in relation to the Board.

Yay-zers!

(So much for my "hypocrisizing". My contact seemed to work to stir the ancient beast.)

In the words of the Man from G ...
Man from G wrote:All that being said I certainly do intend to get the ball moving again on the CSB soon. -- always with the vague time references ... I know. A very special thanks to all those of you who have over the years remained loyal and ardent supporters of the CSB. Your foam finger of thanks is in the mail. But seriously folks for those of you who to this date continue to check in and to keep the forums moving I deeply and most sincerely thank you.

So nothing definate as yet, but at least I am happy the he isn't pining away for Joxer.

That would be too sad to contemplate.

Im curious as to the definition of 'ardent supporter of the CSB'. One would think (in most circles) that leaving, telling the owner off, opening a new spot, and imploring all the rest to flee as well would not make one a supporter.

But what do I know...Im just an ugly american.

quad is creating his own reality again.

quad the computer tech; a man who constantly creates his own facts and then complains when nobody accepts them.

Stay tuned.

He's just getting warmed up.

No wonder Quaddy has such a strange and perverse view of this place, if that what he thinks happened. Obviously his head injury occurred during the demise of the CSB, so his perceptions of what actually happened is warped beyond all common sense.

I wonder if Quaddy would share his communications with Gar, with us to illuminate us as to what we are not party too?
