Comment not on LJ's stupid graphic (sorry, LJ) but on certain persons having the temerity to label anyone else 'impatiently needy'.
Grieving a loss is never done, but wallowing is never healthy. I still miss my first dog, 6+ years after losing him. But I went on with the pursuits of my life immediately after his passing. My concern for Garaelb was why I posted asking if anyone had been in touch with him off-board. I am glad Hen has sent a note; I hope she gets a reply.
This isn't really about CSB, though after Steve's last comment to Gar, I wouldn't be surprised if he did decide the board wasn't worth the trouble.
For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.

In my lifetime I have lost three cats, Tweazle, Beau, and Tiger - aka Mr Potato-head and Russel (called that because it only took the rustle of a chip packet to bring him running) and one dog, Jarrah. The loss of each one tore a hole in my heart. Often I still feel their presence. But that also seems to diminish with time. None of them will be forgotten.
My enquiries into the G's journey is going very well.
I have not pressed the G in any aspect of my contact with him.
I hope that satisfactorily addresses your concerns.
Now, my previous question to you remains if you can focus on it.
Have you worked out what you were talking about when you blibbered on about hypocrisizing? Were you ineptly trying to call me a hypocrite? If so, on what grounds do you make this judgement?

A very special thanks to all those of you who have over the years remained loyal and ardent supporters of the CSB. Your foam finger of thanks is in the mail. But seriously folks for those of you who to this date continue to check in and to keep the forums moving I deeply and most sincerely thank you.

So nothing definate as yet, but at least I am happy the he isn't pining away for Joxer.
Im curious as to the definition of 'ardent supporter of the CSB'. One would think (in most circles) that leaving, telling the owner off, opening a new spot, and imploring all the rest to flee as well would not make one a supporter.
No wonder Quaddy has such a strange and perverse view of this place, if that what he thinks happened. Obviously his head injury occurred during the demise of the CSB, so his perceptions of what actually happened is warped beyond all common sense.
I wonder if Quaddy would share his communications with Gar, with us to illuminate us as to what we are not party too?
