Should a person have to endure ongoing abuse/harassment, day after day?
If it were the workplace, or school, or even the home - most lawyers would step up and say, "No!" There is a remedy.
Yet at CSB and here, the majority of legal beagles weigh in to say that the harassment/abuse should be endured, because ignoring it is no big deal, it's what a grown-up would do. There must be absolute freedom of speech to abuse/harass/tear down our fellow posters with impunity.
I do find that to be a somewhat peculiar position to take.

Ah-ha! Somebody admits, it's an attempt to change me. ...because quite frankly, what I see happening after this 'suspension', is a rule made being up, that I (or anyone else who pisses Gob off) will get three strikes and then will be banned. ...or he'll call it suspended for life, or some such to dodge the issue.

The fact is while some have raised their objections to suspending Lo and Quaddy, no one has actually supported them and their actions.
So, apart from the “ignore” idea, what can/should be done?

The fact is I have had rubato on ignore virtually from the outset of this board. Hence I have no problems with him. (In fact I peek at some of his posts in threads I have not invested in, and find his recent posts to be less offensive than before.)
