I didn't say accept without question; my observation was on the ostracism designed to change his behavior and/or just plain power trip.
I thought we grew outta that after High School. :shrug

There is no "power trip" going on here. A real "power trip" would be if Gob were to ban quad from this BBS.

As it is, quad and anybody else can continue to say stupid things if they want to. But I wouldn't expect people to be nice to anyone who obviously only comes here to attempt to irritate most of us.

quad likes attention. He just doesn't know how to get it without lying about things.

I certainly don't want him banned. He is great entertainment, but not everybody sees him that way.

Well, that was almost tried, with the ban Quad poll. The only reason they don't try it, is it would cause other posters to leave. Instead, they're trying the 'tell him he wants to leave.' tactic of ostracism. I'm sure Quad, doesn't need anyone else to tell him his motivations and desires, he's a grown man after all.

When someone comes here to prove how people can be ostracized by the majority and then accomplishes his/her goal by being a jerk and then is ignored by some and criticized by others, that person can only blame himself/herself.

Further, that person doesn't need to be defended or given sympathy.

Most people here respond to the substance (or lack of substance) in what is written on a subject rather than who wrote it. People who feel mistreated by a group of people here should think about what they are saying and how they are saying it before complaining about how people respond.

Something has fascinated me from post one of this topic.
No litter. No graffiti. Nothing but courteous, friendly, helpful, White People.
There is no grammatical reason to capitalize 'white people'.

Why do it?
Bah!

Not here it isn't.

I think you can get a bag of what you aborigines call "crisps" from a vending machine for 1$ American.
