If you're referring to George Floyd being murdered by a police officer, I don't recall anyone needing to point out Derek Chauvin's race. It seemed pretty obvious and unnecessary since a video of the incident was shown on TV and all over the internet.

I'm not so sure that George Floyd was murdered to me it seems more like a case of negligence compounded by depraved indifference for human life. Don't get me wrong he died in police custody that means somebody is responsible for his death, but I don't know I'd call it murder. The lowest former murder as I understand it his felony murder; someone dies during the commission of a crime, a felony, making a perpetrator of the crime guilty of felony murder. I don't think it even reaches that level. I once asked my local sheriff what got most cops in trouble and he replied," arrogance". They get to thinking they can do nothing wrong and sooner or later it catches up with them; I think that was the case here.

I wasn't referring to the George Ford case but to all these similar cases. They do it all the time; I hear a white policeman killed an unarmed black man; it doesn't matter that black man was resisting arrest and weighed 250 pounds and could have killed the cop of one hand; he still was unarmed.

And that seems to me to be a pretty good definition of murder. I don't have a copy of Black's Law Dictionary handy, bur my on-line Oxford dictionary says murder is the "the unlawful premeditated killing of one human being by another:" So there are three elements a) Was it unlawful? Think it is a clear case of Res ipsa loquitur, the negligence is obvious. Mr. Liberty you even say it was depraved indifference. 2. Was it premeditated? Well the cop had ten minutes kneeling there to think about it. I doubt he was mentally planning what he was gonna buy on his next trip to the grocery store. 3. Was it a death of another human being?

Well that is the real question, isn't it? It seems to me there is a significant portion of our general American society, and of local police departments that hold George Lloyd was part of a group outside the class of 'human being.' Now back to the subject that really matters the war; things in Ukraine on the front lines don't look good; the Ukrainians just do not have the manpower to fight a war of attrition with Russia. Putin just doesn't care how many troops he loses; if he loses too many, he'll just order old men to have sex with young girls and any girl that refuses, she will be sent to a labor camp assigned to worked in the whore house until she gets pregnant. There was a time when I was the volunteer type; I was willing, ready and able to go off the war and kill people, but that's in the past now. I am proud that I was once a Cold Warrior but that's history. I am no longer a military Asset of any kind; hell, if I went to Ukraine, I wouldn't be a help, I wouldn't even be in a impediment, I'd be a burden. Perhaps you watched The Boys from Brazil and thought it was also a documentary.

I'm starting to worry about what Trump is doing in Ukraine; if he lets Putin win, he will go down in history as one of the worst loser presidents of all times. This is a big deal what happens Ukraine can affect the future of our grandchildren; he might think we're spending a lot of money there, but we are actually getting a bargain none of our boys are dying there. Putin must not win, it is ok if he comes out no better than he went in, but he can't be seen as winning. There are about three or four other high priority things the US needs to do like securing the border, balancing trade and bringing down the national debt, but Ukraine is a matter of life and death for the future of our children. He better not let Putin win; true Biden was a coward but that's the past now, trumps is in charge and he can't blame a defeat in Ukraine on Biden no more than Biden could blame the fiasco in Afghanistan on Trump. A defeat in Ukraine would be of such significance that it might be impeachable, I'm not sure that negligence could be classified as a high crime.
