I was standing in a bar in Cairns – North Queensland and this little Chinese guy comes in and stands next to me.
I said to him, “Do you know any of those martial arts things, like Kung-Fu, Karate or Ju-Jitsu?”
He says “No, why the fluck you ask me dat, is it coz I Chinee”?
“No”, I say, "It’s because you’re drinking my beer you slanty eyed little prick.
Cairns, this is what it's like.
Cairns, this is what it's like.
“If you trust in yourself, and believe in your dreams, and follow your star. . . you'll still get beaten by people who spent their time working hard and learning things and weren't so lazy.”
Re: Cairns, this is what it's like.
Well, if he's Chinese, he pronounces his 'r's like 'l's'
If he's from Japan, he pronounces his 'l's' like 'r;s'
The 'fuh' sound is no problem to mainland Asians, but is a difficulty to Philippinos; they pronounce it as 'buh'.
...while if he practices karate, he is Japanese; or if he practices Ju-Jitsu, he maybe from Brazil.
So, this is all kinda stereotypical Oriental.
Juss' sayin'
