Not too shabby for an old duffer. You answered 29 out of 33 correctly — 87.88 %
Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

33/33; the only one I wasn't sure of was the Socrates, Plato, Aquinas question, but I guessed correctly.

Re: My fellow Americans
Big RR - surely you mean that after deep thought you rationally deduced the correct answer?
31/33 for me but I shall not open myself to mockery by telling which two I missed

More BS masquerading as testing:
A serious question would have read something like:Free markets typically secure more economic prosperity than government’s centralized planning because:
But that would have involved, you know, truth.A combination of a free market and centralized planning typically secures broader economic prosperity than does either a free market alone or centralized planning alone because:
Reason is valuable only when it performs against the wordless physical background of the universe.
Re: My fellow Americans
That's why I got that question wrong then.
There was no correct answer...
There was no correct answer...
Sometimes it seems as though one has to cross the line just to figger out where it is

Re: My fellow Americans
Although I disagreed with several of the economics questions at the end, I could see the answer they were going for, since the questions' pro-capitalist bias was obvious. These were not "civic literacy" questions but propaganda -- and considering who is putting this quiz out there, it's no wonder. You answered 33 out of 33 correctly — 100.00 %

From the ISI website:
Principles
The Intercollegiate Studies Institute works to instill an understanding and appreciation for America’s founding principles. These six values represent the core beliefs inherent in ISI’s mission and its activity.
Limited Government
The rightful functions of government are to guarantee individual liberty, private property, internal order, the provision of national defense, and the administration of justice. When the state exceeds this proper role, it accumulates power and becomes a threat to personal liberty.
Individual Liberty
Individuals possess rights to life, liberty, property, and freedom from the restrictions of arbitrary force. They exercise these rights through the use of their natural free will.
Personal Responsibility
Personal responsibility is central to the idea of a free society and to the concept of self-government. Because each individual is morally responsible for his acts, citizens in a free society have an obligation to educate themselves to further the common good through the political process: this is the proper and necessary function of self-government.
The Rule of Law
Laws, not men, rule a free society. The Constitution of the United States, with its division of powers, is the best arrangement yet devised for empowering government while preventing the concentration of power.
Free Market Economy
Allocating resources by the free play of supply and demand is the single economic system compatible with the requirements of a free society, and also the most productive and efficient supplier of human needs.
Traditional Values
The values, customs, conventions, and norms of the Judeo-Christian tradition inform and guide a free society. Without such ordinances, society induces its decay by embracing a relativism that rejects an objective moral order.

I got 33 out of 33, but had the same complaints as others about the questions on economics. (Like Sue, I could see which answers they wanted and answered accordingly.)

32/33 - I missed one of the Econ questions, which I always miss, every time I've taken this quiz.

So you refuse to learn from your mistakes.
Re: My fellow Americans
Agreed sue, I do think they were pretty clear about what answers they expected on the questions, especially on the economic questions.

I'm sure I'd do much better if I took the test over... but, at least, I'm honest.
Now, where's that quiz on the Kadashian girls? I bet I'll ace that one.
