Tomorrow I replace the sinks pop up drain and the light fixture.

Who or what is it that possesses my mind/body when I decide to start and then expand these projects (I'm now replacing the sink)

If you are replacing the sink.

Generally it is optional to add the lift plug.

If it's an option DON'T install it.

If not try to find one that doesn't have one.

They are a hassle, they end up leaking around the seal near the trap, they make it dang near impossible to rod out the trap, and if you have to remove the trap it is a bugger to get them back in the right position.

Buy a .25 rubber plug and keep it high away from the kiddos.

Ours is on top the medicine cabinet...

And now that i've finished replacing the door hardware I'm thinking about replacing all the door hardware. (we got the contractors special in here now)
