Guests from England this weekend

Post by Guinevere »

Old friends who were in the US temporarily, whose daughter shares a Thanksgiving-time birthday with the older of my boyz. She's from Herefordshire, just a few moments away from Wales.

Her comment on life in the US almost 8 years after she had left: "it's so lovely and civilized here!" :D :D :D

Guess you didn't let her view this board. :nana

Just kidding.

I try and be as polite and civilized as I can at all times, even here. But that's just the Steps talking, I can be a bastard if I try really hard. :D

Glad she liked the US, maybe more will come to that opinion if they get to know us.
:ok

Living near Wales would do that to you. :D

Hereford is now twinned with Gaza... :D
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?
