Not only has the Garden Spot High School, Pennsylvania, student changed the name and words of the song but she also decided to sing it herself - so out of time and tune, we wonder if she has ever actually heard the original version.
The result is 'Spartan High School Style', a poorly-edited, four-minute 18-second video featuring some of the most cringe-worthy, awkward and cheesy moments of 'school pride'.
As someone on message board site Reddit commented: 'This video is so horrible I feel like just wandering off into the wilderness to spend the rest of my days alone in a cave.'
