No cashews – but the toast works just fine!

And even better…..

Well done Meade! SMF is always horrified when I spread marmite that thickly... :ok
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

I like it spread a bit thicker than most do. Made the mistake of trying Marmite XO that thick.....

I finished it, it was almost painful, but I finished it.

I treat that jar of XO with a great deal of respect now.

I was warned long ago by Sean & reminded by Gob to not spread Marmite or Vegemite on thickly. It appears from Meade's picture that he's an addict who has been using the stuff for years.

I don't think I'll ever get to that point but the idea brings to mind a discussion in another thread.

Vegemite & Marmite is difficult to find in the U.S. As far as I know, we don't have Marmite labs here that people set up in their basements. However, anyone who wants to use it can get it. I could overdose on it if I wanted.

I could put Vegemite into your sandwich without your knowledge.

And then shoot you with an illegal gun.

I find slipping small amounts into stocks, gravy and soups is the best way to start getting people hooked on it. Then when they get hooked you can start dealing the hard stuff to them.

Joe- I think I've mentioned this before but try looking/asking for Marmite at your local Whole Foods store.
