Since December 21st will come to Australia first, I assume you'll keep the rest of us apprised as to whether or not the world is ending?

That's a day I usually pay bills, and I'd hate to make those payments for nothing.

If you take the 1st letter of each of those it spells JAR, DOOM would be more impressive...

if you spell it from top to bottom it spells 'Raj'. Overtones of Indian, you see. Indian is a fine cricketing nation.

You may have scoffed at our cricket worship, but who will have the last laugh now, eh?
Bah!

"Bore"(pronounced "Bo reh") in Welsh is "morning". The doom which comes at daybreak then.....

But you will let us know if the world is coming to an end, old darling?

I'd hate to think that the world was coming to an end, and I wasn't properly prepared for it....

I'd like to wear something nice...a really good quality made to measure all wool suit... and have a few pithy words to say....

Wouldn't want to be caught in my sweats when the world's coming to an end... 8-)
