dystopian escatology

Post by rubato »

Ok this is the time for you to get out front and record your guesses about how current notorious 'leaders' will meet their ends.

First off we have Assad of Syria. Russia has said they don't want him which limits the 'bolt for a hidey hole' option seriously. The choices are:

1.
He scoots off to someplace else to spend his golden years complaining how he was wronged by history.

2.
The rebels kill him.

3.
His own side kills him and blames it all on him.

4.
He eventually 'wins' the civil war. (yeah, I know, not fucking likely)

5.
Other. If you can think of a different option lets hear it.

Hugo Chavez:

No, its not much of a guess with this one. He's had 4 cancer surgeries in a short time which suggests an aggressive disease and he's not going to make it. so the only guesses are:

1.
4 months.

2.
8 months.

Vladimir Putin

This is the real wild card in the bunch. No known diseases or lethal political liabilities. The Russians seem to like having a 'strong daddy' running things ( they are SO like US Republicans! ) so the only real question is whether he will win the next election? I think you'd have to give odds to get anyone to bet against him.

1.
Da!

2.
Nyet!

Castro

Ok, he's out of power so it really makes little difference anymore and his health has been 'delicate' for a few years. But hes a sturdy old rascal and he could linger on for years.

1. Muertos in 6 months!

2. Muertos in less than 12 months!

3. Muertos some other time.

You CAN look things up on your own!

Well that's a big step for you. Congratulations.

Now if only it was only something less, trivial ... ?

Nice try, rubble.

I have the ability to spell words correctly.

And you have the inability to admit being wrong.

Which is what makes you so funny.

Thank you for being funny and happy new year.

That'll teach you NOT to drink cheap booze.

Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.
