I wasn't kidding when I said that near the end of the game...

I figured there was at least a 50% chance that could happen, given how many times over the years I have watched aghast, in dumb struck horror, as the Redskins somehow figured out a way to lose a game that seemed like it was in the bag,(especially against Dallas) going all the way back to the infamous Clint Longley Pass....

I'll bet I wasn't the only 'Skins fan holding their breath until the clock finally ran out....

Well the good news is, if we wind up meeting the Niners in the playoffs, I won't be struck with the crisis of conscience I was experiencing over the prospect of a Nationals-Giants match up....

I've got nothing against the 49ers, (it's not like they're The Cowboys) and I have always rooted for them when the Redskins were out of it....

But if they come up against the 'Skins, I'm sorry, but they're goin' down....

They've played seven straight elimination games, and won every one....

The skins have some momentum and are playing well at the right time. Houston a darling in the early part of the season is just the opposite.

Nope, its those ridiculous Jets and their coach with the mouth that won't quit I really can't stand. I'm not a sore loser (unlike, said Jets), we got beat, twice. Painful, but so it goes.

Besides, my nine-year-old love is a Giants fan, and I know he is disappointed.
