Children's show review

Post by Crackpot »

As I'm forced to watch them.
Super why: Good show seems to help reading skills creative though a little ticked about how they make classic stories politically correct

Sesame Street: always good

Thomas the tank engine: Good show interesting stories and even bough the characters are somewhat simplistic none are all good or all bad. There is something disturbing about the mutually vicious relationship between the freight cars and the engines.

Bob the Builder: heard good things about this show unfortunately they all forgot to mention that aargh portion of the characters are retarded.

Others?
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.

Can't help you.
My kids are 27 and 23. I survived the Barney years and have not looked back.

Barney himself wasn't unbearable. But I always wanted to slap those kids on the show!

I often thought a brick through the TV screen would fix the whole lot of them, including my kids.
Thankfully I was at work most of the time Barney was being aired otherwise I would have been buying many a TV.

I love you, you love me, we're a happy fam-a-lee. With a great big hug and a kiss from me to you, won't you say you love me too?

It will never, ever, ever leave your brain. Ugh.

Martha Speaks is a good one. And we liked Diego and Dora a lot, too.

Countin' flowers on the wall
That don't bother me at all
Playin' solitaire till dawn with a deck of fifty-one
Smokin' cigarettes and watchin' Captain Kangaroo
Now don't tell me I've nothin' to do

Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.
