I had a case a number of years back where a gas can without a safety nozzle fell or was knocked to the floor in the basement of a residence. The fumes were ignited by a water heater and the resulting explosion and fire severely burned a three-year-old child accompanying his mother to do the laundry. The injuries were (and to this day are) horrific. See that boy, and then ask me if I give a shit whether you can get the last few ounces out of your gas can because it has a safety spout.

Oh, and the OP, like virtually everything I have ever seen from Fred, is just moronic.
Old-style military jerrycans can be knocked over, kicked, even fall out of a moving truck, all without spilling a drop! (One of mine is dented from falling off my lawnmower trailer onto concrete, but still airtight.) The new-style gas cans? Not so much.

Anyone stupid enough to keep an unsealed gas can in their basement should not be permitted to breed under any circumstances! (And also note: many older gas cans DID seal...and yet still worked for their intended purpose!)

Low-flow toilets work, period.

I'll send you mine and you can see if it works as inteneded (it does not). Typically 2 flushes for No. 2. I have taken it off the seal, made sure the bottom of the toilet is clear, had the drain roto-rooted tried everything. In the spring I am getting rid of it, PM me your address and I'll send it to you so you can see that some low flush toilets do not work as intended. (It's a Crane model)

But for full discloseure I do have an American Standard low flush in the other bathroom which works perfectly (except I have to clean out the filling mechanism periodically as we have hard water and it clogs the tank filler upper. I may changde it next time to a different type of fill spout)

Some do, some do not. Just like lo-flow showerheads.

So far I am 50/50 on low flow toilets. I never had an old toilet not flush properly.
I do remember watching Holme on Homes and he came into a house that supposedly had "flushing" issues and he determined the problem was the actual "low flush" toilets the remodeler chose, replaced them with better models and the new ones worked fine. Wanna ban something, ban those things that don't work as advertised.

Shower heads only need the correct size drill bit to "repair" them.
