A Maine toddler's birthday party was cancelled after his dad discovered a knife in his Elmo cake.
Nathan Bibeau, of Lewiston, said he was furious on finding the blade in the pastry bought for his two-year-old son Cayden from Auburn Walmart.
The young father, who is now thinking about suing the chain, said the family were left "disappointed and upset."
Guests started to leave the party and the incident "put a dampener" on everything, he claimed.
A relative found the knife as they cut through the cake, he said, before adding: "We're not going to get that second birthday back ever."
Walmart has since apologized and offered a refund for the cake.
Walmart birthday cake for Cayden Bibeau was a huge disappointment, says his father.
Spokesman Kayla Whaling told WGME, "this should not have happened. We're thankful no one was hurt and sincerely apologize to our customers for their experience."
She added that the store was now banning the use of pairing knives at its bakeries across the country.

I probably shouldn't judge a dumbshit man by his looks. After all, I'm sure there was much trauma caused by him planting finding that knife in the cake.
