Dessert.
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

Could someone explain why they think Marmite is better than Vegemite?

Or visa versa or versa visa?

I ask because the General has indicated that he enjoys Marmite and has made derogatory comments regarding Vegemite.

I believe Sean agrees.

Is Vegemite considered to be too weak for Marmitarians?

I think it's more a case of people preferring the one the grew up with, Brits with Mar, Aussies with Vege.

I fall between two stools, (frequently.)

I've developed a fondness for Promite.

I fall between two stools often also.

(It's the shits!)

Are you serious?

There's a Promite product?

What a dilemma! I'll never find that here.

Here's what I'll do...

I'll mix one part Marmite with one part Vegemite and try that.

If I like it I'll call it Joe Guymite and consider the issue settled.

I'll test that mix and get back to you.

I'm sure everyone here is interested and anxious to hear the results of my experiment.

How could they not be?

Gob's right Joe... It's usually down to what you were weaned on. Personally, I find vegemite to be foul tasting shite but Pud loves it.

I guess you're right, Sean.

Gob, thanks but don't bother. It will cost you too much to send the Promite.

And I see that it is sold on Amazon.

I fall between two stools
I have to say that comparing Vegemite and Marmite to two stools is one of the more apt analogies I've seen...

Where do light bulbs go when they go out?

And why don't they work when they get back?

 I had to put my cat to sleep last week. It's a the little things, like holding the screen door open a certain way so he wouldn't sneak through, certain points in the house he hung out, effin' fur, everywhere. Well, you've all been there before. Hard to lose a friend.
