$15/mo

This works for me.

Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

(Tough to break out the price because it's bundled with phone and cable service, but they have a lot of deals)

I have no idea what it means, and I don't know what I'm paying because it's included in my rent.

Mine just says, "Please connect to the Internet".

I'm on satellite broadband.
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

I can't wait for the national broadband network to hit our suburb, this is what they are getting locally.

Well every page you view on the net is something you download So faster download faster browsing. Question really is how fast is fast enough
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.

Joe, just out of curiosity, why did you delete your posts and keep changing the thread title?

Because he found out that the linked site was actually a Nigerian scam and his bank account has been emptied via the interwebs?

Download 2.46 Mbps
Upload 0.35 Mbps
Ping 146 ms

Good job I don't have broadband or those numbers would really be poor!

Oh
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

I did the test at home (same laptop I use at work) and got this result:

In practical terms, I can't tell any difference between home and office, but I don't stream videos or down/upload huge media files or play games.

I apologize for my strange behavior.

When I went back and re-read what I had written I realized there was no way anyone could give the real answer that I was looking for - which is 'What internet speed is good for me?'

Then I decided that I had asked a stupid question and I wished I hadn't started the thread.

I should have just stopped posting and left things as they were.

But I didn't...

Buy whatever DSL is cheapest and then pay for incrementally faster connections until you don't care anymore. Once the connection is fast enough that you don't care its a waste of money to pay for more.
