Needs sauerkraut.

A real Bratwurst (Not those things they label as "Brats") on Pumpernickel bread with some spicy mustard and saurkraut is to die for. No bar-b-q is complete without them.

Anytime you come to LonGuyLand, I'll be more than happy to bar-b-q some Bratwursts and Knockwursts and even a Kilbasa. I'll even have some beer (no Bud or Coors, Bass Ale or other stronger beer) to go along with it, but no beer for me. I'll be having some unsweetened ice tea with a lemon twist. And if pumpernickle is too strong, a good jewish rye bread works well too.
Now I am hungry.

Jim and I are on the next flight to NYC, that sounds dammed good!

Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

When police pulled over a car in Sydney's north-west and discovered 150 kilograms of cheese in the back seat and the boot, little did they know it was a small slice of a larger heist.

There is still more than five tonnes of stolen cheddar and mozzarella out there, somewhere, on the streets of Sydney.

A man was charged on Thursday for alleged possession of drugs after the car he was in was pulled over on Marsden Road, Carlingford.

When officers searched the car they also found 150 kilograms of King Cheese in the back seat and boot, which they allege was "stolen or illegally obtained". The cheese was subsequently destroyed.

The rightful owner of the cheese, a long-established food wholesaler in Sydney's south-west, said the 150 kilograms was only a small portion of the six tonnes of cheese taken when one of his company's refrigerated trucks was stolen from Bankstown on Wednesday.

The loot was mainly mozzarella and cheddar, he said, and was to be delivered and on-sold to Sydney's restaurants and take-away shops.

Who would steal six tonnes of cheese?

The wholesaler, who asked not to be named, said he assumed someone would try and sell the cheese to small stores and eateries at a bargain price.

"There was no way they would have known there was cheese in the back of the truck," he said.

He said the theft must have been planned, as you could not just hide a 10-tonne refrigerated truck in a garage.

The cheese was insured and he had already sourced replacement stock, but he holds little hope of finding the rest, he said.

"The cheese is useless to me now," he said. "I would like the truck back, though, especially in the lead-up to Christmas."

He had no issue with the police destroying the recovered 150 kilograms, saying the officers had no way to refrigerate such a large quantity food.

It was not the first time he had been the victim of food theft.

"I had a bloke working for me who was taking a few boxes here and there and selling it on the sly," he said.

The 31-year-old allegedly caught with the cheese was refused bail when he appeared in court on Thursday. The man, who is well-known to police, was charged with possessing prohibited drugs.

He has also been charged with "goods in personal custody suspected of being stolen" in connection with the cheese.
