Amateurs. This one is the one to visit:

(I'll post some of my own pics of it later . . . )

And after visiting Simi Valley, I'm sure you'll want to shoot down the highway and check out:

Jim, as for the OP, I'll give it a miss. I've read read "The Hungry Caterpillar" to the Hatch when she was a kid.
“If you trust in yourself, and believe in your dreams, and follow your star. . . you'll still get beaten by people who spent their time working hard and learning things and weren't so lazy.”
Re: Strop, If You Visit The US, I Know You'll WantTo See Thi
You should have read the American (original) version: The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Crazy stuff, I'll tell you.
Re: Strop, If You Visit The US, I Know You'll WantTo See Thi
that caterpillar is disturbing
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.
Re: Strop, If You Visit The US, I Know You'll WantTo See Thi
That caterpillar is the cause of obesity in American children...
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

Actually Sean, that story is a cautionary tale against over eating....

That caterpillar looks like something Louis Wain painted while suffering from schizophrenia.

Re: Strop, If You Visit The US, I Know You'll WantTo See Thi
It was a very nice opening ceremony...(Even Carter managed to be gracious.)
Condi Rice made the introductions and acknowledgements of all the dignitaries present, including a number of foreign former and present leaders with very difficult names; which she pronounced effortlessly and flawlessly...
(I couldn't help but think how amusing that portion of the program would have been if George had taken on that task....)

Lest we forget:
Yeah, THAT guy actually ran this country for EIGHT ENTIRE YEARS!
P.S. All that publicity about the opening of the library and they never even showed us the book....

Anyone who wants to visit the GWB library had better hurry. Apparently there are only three books there and two of them are already coloured in...

I understand that White House security has been beefed up somewhat since then...."I remember meeting a mother of a child who was abducted by the North Koreans right here in the Oval Office."
Bush himself had a pretty good line at the opening ceremony:
"There was a time when I couldn't be found in a library, much less founding one..."

IIRC, Bush once once introduced William F. Buckley Jr., saying, "While he was at Yale, he wrote a book. While I was at Yale, I read one."
