You are doing the right thing, Meade.
I'm sure it's only natural for you.

Re: You Sad Pathetic Man...
All things considered, I'd rather be in Philadelphia.
Thanks gentlepeople.
Thanks gentlepeople.
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts
I'M NOT SO SURE, MEADE

Now off with you and tend to your pressing family matters. I hope you make it before that final chapter is written. Godspeed.

Our thoughts are with you at this sad time Meade.

As to mum, she's still in this world just about; pretty much all of her except the cantankerousness has been drained out. It was good to be with her while she was still able to recognise me and speak reasonably coherently on most days. Some days she just slept. Doctors would not give a prognosis but it was they who suggested I come at once apparently. She's ready to "go" as she insisted more than once but the body just hangs on, doesn't it?
Lynn and I are booked (in more sedate fashion) to go to the UK June 24 for 3+ weeks (while the Bolokanang kids are on school holidays) and perhaps mum will still be there then. In many ways, I hope not - she's not getting out alive whether it's William Harvey or St Mark's hospitals.
Ah well - thanks again to all
Meade
