Anyone Here Caught Up In Powerball Mania?

Post by dales »

Over half a billion jackpot!

I'd like to see a 1%'er cash in the winning ticket.

After all, one can never be too rich!

Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

I got conned into buying tickets with a group of friends. I'm now $2.00 poorer than I was a couple days ago.

I don't even know when they are having the drawing.

I'll let you know if I win. If I do win I plan to buy a home near Andrew in Antioch.

If you win, I'd venture to guess that you can buy 2 homes.

GOt an offer on the Condo for asking price here's to hoping the bank doesn't jack it up (they'd only be losing ~$15k on the deal)

... 'ONE' ticket sold in Florida. OK, I'm betting that if it wasn't an office pool that it will probably be a toothless, bearded, hag, living in a trailer park in Belle Glade Camp. I can't wait for the reveal.

Gotta be in it to win it. I was not "in it".

When the "millionaire" lottery first came to his state, a Jewish fellow began a practice of ending his prayers each sabbath with a brief prayer, "Dear God, help me win the lottery."

This continued for many years. Same prayer.

Finally, one Friday night, the old fellow waited until he was the only one remaining in the building and he raised his voice to God, and said, "Why have you not answered my prayers?! I've been a good jew, I've asked you a thousand times...what would it hurt if I WON the LOTTERY?"

After a moment, a deep, loud voice permeated the synagogue, saying, "Irv, give me a break! Couldn't you at least buy a ticket?"
