Happy birthday oldr mate!
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

Happy Birthday My friend and Co- adventurer!

All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

Thank you all. I completed 55 years today, starting on my 56th. My futures so bright I have to wear shades (prescription of course).
Thanks again to all.
Gonna miss my AA meeting tonight as the wife and kids are taking me out to dinner. Lobster night at a local grill.

And on gobs list I think I got 100%.

Re: Older, but wiser?
Thanks again everyone. Went out to dinner last night with my wife and our kids. Went to a seafood place down in Port Jefferson. The wife and daughter each got a pair of lobster tails and me and the son got all you can eat crab legs. The lobster bisk was very good as was the rest of the meal. I did want steamers for an appitizer, but it's not the season for them.

We actually talked, more importantly, I listened. I didn't have that voice in my head wondering when the waitress was bringing my next drink. And the bill wasn't too bad. Usually it's $50 higher from all the cocktails I would have.

Re: Older, but wiser?
Happy belated birthday my friend. I have been busy with the grandson and not attending to the computer lately. I hope your day was great, you certainly deserve it.

I expect to go straight to hell...........at least I won't have to spend time making new friends.
