I've really wanted to comment on this, but it's been a busy week, and I haven't had time....

Guin:

When I saw your first post, I naturally assumed it was intended as sarcasm...

But then when I saw the second, I was forced to conclude that you must actually be serious...

Wow... :?

That someone would seriously attempt to take a person to task for turning the tables a bit on these scam artists who are in the business of trying to pluck the hard earned savings out of desperate people, leaves me with this reaction:

Image

It is beyond bizarre to me that anyone could characterize this as, "vigilante justice"...

Truly stupefying....My flabber is completely gasted...words fail...

There are many subjects over which reasonable people may differ....

But this isn't one of them.... 8-)

The one and only appropriate response to what Sean has done here is:

"Bloody brilliant! Wish I'd done it. Well done that man!"

Thank you Jim. :ok

I've just received the last of the recordings. I've edited them together into a single mp3 which has a running time of 1hr 56 mins. Now the merry go round with Messrs Tufnell and St Hubbins begins...

Update: Our African friend (whose real name is Victor) has given his full name and bank account details to Nigel Tufnell, who asked him to pass them on to David St Hubbins, the Financial Director of Thundermonkey Productions. When David was given these details he expressed great puzzlement and finally concluded that Victor has been the victim of a fraudster who is planning to sell his recordings for many thousands of dollars. Feeling sorry for Victor, David has put him in touch with Chief Inspector Derek Smalls who heads up the Dedicated Australian Fraud & Terrorism Crimes against Unsuspecting Nationals Team (DAFTCUNT) for the Australian Police Squad. Derek will of course need a lot more of Victor's details in order to bring the rascal Nigel to justice and get Victor's money.

Aside from that, David St Hubbins wants to help Victor out and is about to offer him the chance to do some recordings for the real Thundermonkey Productions...

That made my day...

I've turned the tables on internet con artists from time to time....(I did a pretty good job years ago when I brought down "Tupac A Pall Mall"...)

But on that score, I stand in the presence of greatness... 8-)

It's kind of a long story Sean, but I guess only our remaining Cafe Darties would remember it...

I'll have some time over the weekend to post it.

Sean, this is a great story. I love it when the tables are turned on someone like this lying sack of fraudulent shit. If you can find a producer this would make a great movie.

Can I contribute to the soundtrack? I've already got a song in mind. Its working title is "Lying Sack of Fraudulent Shit".

I regards to Jim's story, I hadn't been at Cafe Dartre very long when I read that Jim had gotten "someone," he didn't name Suburu Laura at the time, to help him trap that Tupac character and make him disappear. I'd like to read the details of that story also.
