Please, just eat it
Please, just eat it
What is the deal with trend of people taking a picture of the food on their plate and the sharing it with people via FB and other social media? I know that restaurants more and more try to make their food look pretty (i.e., the so-called "presentation"), but really, no need to see all that food.

I don't do facebook or tweeter, but it has been my experience that whatever I ordered barely resembles that which is pictured on the menu.
Re: Please, just eat it
That's what you get for eating in places with pictures of the food on the menu...

Rhubarb Crumble from a pub restaurant in Southport...
What they say you're going to get.

What you actually get

It's the whole 'foodie' thing and as far as I can tell it is a generational differentiator.
A colleague came back from a trip to Spain and sent me her pictures. More than 3 out of 4 pictures were of plates of food or the restaurant(s) inside and out. This was from a 30ish lean athletic and astonishingly beautiful young woman.

Was she naked in one out of four pictures?

My guess is she didn't want you fapping over bikini shots and sent you food pictured instead?

For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

She was in Spain for Catholic World Youth Day superintended by Pope The Most Recently Abdicated. I think there was another WYD in Brazil for the new Pope-ster this year. Although her age (post-30) led most of us to question how far the 'Youth" part could be stretched.
These were also the pics she posted on her social networking acct.
