Happy Birthday Hen!!!

Hen's "half century" birthday today!!!

We’re going out for a meal to celebrate this Saturday night,(day before we leave for Blighty,) at Water’s Edge.

She already knows what she’s getting from me for her birthday, as we booked it in January, a two day cookery class at Rick Stein’s Seafood School, (there may be a little bit of self interest displayed by me there.)

She also got a ticket to see the Aussie folk hero Paul Kelly play.

I’m under strict orders that I’m not to buy her any more gifts, so I won’t.

By god she’s a fine figure of a woman for her age. Saturday the 8th of September, a fortnight before her 50th, she run the Canberra Times ten kilometre fun run. Puts me to shame.
Happy Birthday my darling wife, love you forever!!!

For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

You're right Jim, she's a fine figure of a woman full stop

Many girls in their 20's would be envious of her.

I was fifty years old, once.

It was sometime in the last century :D

Happy Birthday!

Many thanks to all for your good wishes. I am having an incredibly brilliant celebration of my half century.

The dinner last night at the Waterfront was wonderful. The company was lively and all ate well. I do believe the Hatch may be awakening to her first hang over later today. At least she had better be awakening, if not I will do that part for her.

Gob, I love you. You have been spoiling me rotten for this milestone in my life, and your spoiling of me doesnt seem to ever abate. You truly are the best punt I have ever taken. (Yes, I did mean Punt.)

This year, work-wise, has been the hardest of my life. This has meant I just have no time, or energy, left in me to post. I have missed being here tremendously. I have missed you all.

Hopefully, now we leave for the UK tomorrow, I will be able to catch up a little more over the next seven weeks. I am sure there will be one or two days over there where the weather isnt good enough to do anything else but stay in.
Bah!
