I will work on it but she could be a definate handful. We, she and I , have worked on her sense of humor since she was 7 and she has become a real acomplishment for me. She is my finest work in progress. :nana

Hello boys and girls, yes oldr_n_wsr is still "ALIVE". Been through some shit on the job side. Quit the hell hole I was working for (BE Aerospace) and am now working for Motorola in their Advanced Products Division. We dream up shit, try and make it work then present it to the rest of the company and see if it will make a viable product. I can't tell you what I designing/working on right now 'cause if I did then I would have to kill you. ;)

Hope to be around more often. Haven't been over to CSB, does anyone still post there. Seems all the familiar avatars are here.

Well folks I have finally reached sinility. My 20 year old daughter whom I will now refer to as Captain Obvious was reading through some of these threads reminded me that I will be 61 in december. Born in 1949.
I shall join you in the senility corner having utterly refused to believe my hubby when he informed me I wasn't 47 I was 48 - this of course led to much teasing on his part with me trying desperately to prove him wrong and failing completely as it seems I am indeed 48
If you can keep your head while those around you are losing theirs, you may have misjudged the situation.

I've been doing the opposite.

I have spent all year saying I am 47 only to find out I am turning 47 this year.

I prefer doing it arse up. I feel younger now.

:D
Bah!

How exactly does one forget how old one is? I mean other than the obvious causes of such which I don't think actually pertains in your cases.

I too lost track of my age when I was somewhere in my 30s. In part because I have a very poor memory for numbers and in part because I don’t really care.

Still, one gets called upon to provide such information and it doesn’t speak well if you have to start counting your fingers, so I figured out a way to jog my nearly absent memory.

If in this year, my birthday is still in front of me then the last digit of my age is the same as that of the calendar, otherwise; add 1.

Since I am on the downhill side of my birthday, the last year of my age is “1”.

So far my memory is good enough to provide me with the first digit, which is “6”, and that makes me older then Miles.

(I’m glad he didn’t chose “Dirt” for an online name)

Through years of trying to convince people I'm 10 years younger :)
“If you trust in yourself, and believe in your dreams, and follow your star. . . you'll still get beaten by people who spent their time working hard and learning things and weren't so lazy.”

To mock my successfully achieving middle age, without achieving maturity; I say,
"I'm fart-y four!"

...so far, that makes CP the youngest, but something tells me Scooter is still just a pup. ;)
