Healthcare free at the point of need
As far as I know, ObamaCare (nor most other health plans) is not "free" at the point of need. There is usually a copay (typically $20-$25). Deductables are usually handled later by the insurance company or a doctors bill to the individual.

Yes, there is free or low cost care available for those that qualify, based on financial need, which is handled through Medicare or the Children's Health Insurance Program.

Massachusetts has a similar program for its "Romneycare" -- if you meet certain criteria (financial and otherwise, like if you're under 65 and have breast cancer) you can qualify for MassHealth, which is the free (or low cost) health care that was always provided by the state.

Daisy, we should have joined the rest of the world and provided nationalized health care decades ago. The social and cultural reasons why we haven't are too long to list, and not really any excuse. We were the first to provide a guaranteed free education, we could have lead the world on health care as well.

The private HC expriment had already failed 40 years ago. And then there is this:

We allowed ourselves to be led by immoral and stupid people who were willing to lie to get elected.

People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right. The only difference is, they're wrong.
