Highway Sing-a-long

Post by Scooter »

I love this guy, he starts sing-a-longs in bumper to bumper traffic on L.A. freeways, just to get people smiling.

The party poopers should just save the comments about how distracting it could be, etc. The guy probably averted dozens of potential road rage incidents every time he did this.

Play all three simultaneously -- a good idea of what a traffic jam is like.
Reason is valuable only when it performs against the wordless physical background of the universe.

I don't know Scooter, to each his own; if he were next to me with the window rolled down and his caterwauling, I might be moved toward road rage. More likely, I'd just close my window and turn up my radio. But if some like it, fine with me.

Maybe Rafi can reignite his career by doing this as well. Or Barney.

Cute. It's just very LA (in my New Englander view of the world. That traffic doesn't look to awful, either).

Way back in the 20th century a friend & I used to do that, but we weren't on the freeway and the radio was in his VW bug.

We got pulled over once by a cop. I guess it didn't help that he had the Zig Zag man painted on the front (boot... :D ) of his car.

The cop just shook his head and let us go since we weren't smoking at the time.

It's better than the guy (or gal) next to you blasting hip-hop on their radio. You know them, they have the 20" subwoofer in the trunk and an amplifier for it that requires a second battery and heavy duty alternator and cars 50 feet away shake from the bass.
