Lee Rigby "Secret" murder trial

Post by Gob »

Lee Rigby murder
It would appear that I was correct in thinking that the trial of Michael Adebolajo and Michael Adebowale for the murder of Lee Rigby began on Monday 18th of November.

I am now told that there is a blackout on reporting about the court case in the UK.

And although I cannot state with one hundred percent certainty that that is the case, it would certainly appear to be true given the MSM’s lack of coverage.

How very, very fucking strange, given the amount of publicity given to the hoax murder at the time.

We also have the two ‘stooges’ who carried out the murder and who were seen carrying out the murder by ‘witnesses’ as well as Adebolajo admitting to the murder straight after supposedly killing Lee Rigby, now deciding to inexplicably plead not guilty a month before the trial.
So, given all of the evidence that I and others have put forward to suggest that this was a government orchestrated operation, if ever there was a trial that needed to be carried out with transparency, then fuck me, it is surely this one.

That need is further amplified by the fact that a small but significant number of people waving professional placards calling for the death penalty to be reinstated, were stood outside of the Old Bailey waiting for the pair to arrive.

It kind of reminds me how some alleged that the trial of the murder of Channon Gail Christian and Hugh Christopher Newsom in Knoxville a few years back was being buried because it dealt with the murder/torture of a white couple by blacks, even though it was fairly well reported.

True, there's no allegation that the government orchestrated the murder, only that it and the media covered it up.

Daze, this has become very common place. Within hours of any tragedy, the whacko birds are in full flight claiming it was a conspiracy and/or hoax.

Shortly after the Boston Marathon Bombing there were blogs up claiming the whole thing had been staged. (This despite the fact that it had taken place on live television with thousands of eye witnesses on the scene.)

I suppose it goes back to the Kennedy assassination, but since the advent of the internet the number of conspiracy theories, the events they attach themselves too, and the speed with which they go public have multiplied exponentially...

Ever since 9-11 and the "it was an inside job" "Truther" garbanzos, I'm hard put to think of a single tragedy that drew the attention of the press where this hasn't happened....

I think the reason for why this is happening is pretty obvious; there's clearly a market for it. There are a lot of deeply troubled, socially isolated, clinically paranoid people out there who flock to this stuff; and provide financial support and ego gratification for the amoral hucksters who hawk it.

It's tough to pick the absolutely most outrageous one, but for sheer moral repugnance and pure vileness, (a common quality to all of them) I think it's tough to beat the lowlifes who were selling the idea that the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre was a hoax:

‘Sandy Hook Truthers’ claim Newtown massacre a hoax to spur gun control measures

WASHINGTON — The United States has long been a breeding ground for conspiracy theorists, spurred by an often violent history riddled, in particular, with shadowy political assassinations.

But the latest conspiracy movement seems custom-made to underscore the need for a national debate on mental illness.[Amen.] Some of the Sandy Hook Truthers, as they’ve been dubbed, believe last month’s mass shooting in Newtown, Conn., was a hoax.

The Obama administration perpetrated the hoax, the conspiracy theorists claim, in order to ratchet up support for tougher gun control measures.

They call themselves Operation Terror, and many of the movement’s adherents appear to have ties to the so-called 9-11 truthers who have long held that the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, were an inside job by the George W. Bush administration.

Their theories on the Dec. 14 shooting in Sandy Hook appear to lack any basis in fact,[ya think?] reality or common sense. But Google Trends suggests the movement is gaining momentum with both a Florida college professor and a libertarian Fox News anchor in Cincinnati questioning the official narrative on the events.

On various websites and blogs, some Sandy Hook truthers crow about the “smoking gun” they say proves the shooting was a hoax — a photo of President Barack Obama, backstage at a Newtown vigil two days after the shooting, a young blonde girl sitting on his lap.

They insist the girl is six-year-old Emilie Parker, one of the 20 child victims of the shooting. The Sandy Hook truthers claim her parents slipped up in their participation in the hoax, and allowed their eldest daughter to cuddle up to Obama.

“The story that she was killed at Sandy Hook is not possible, because here she is sitting on the president’s lap after the shooting,” intones the narrator of a YouTube video, one of dozens of its kind, this one the recipient of more than 260,000 web hits.

In fact, it’s the dead girl’s little sister.

The child’s father, Robbie Parker, was also faking his profound despair when he tearfully addressed the media shortly after his daughter’s murder, the believers claim, and was reading from cue cards.

The family members of the massacre’s tiniest victims aren’t the only ones being accused of such unthinkable fraud as they continue to grieve.

A town resident who sheltered six youngsters after they fled Sandy Hook Elementary School in terror is even facing harassment from some of the conspiracy theorists.

Gene Rosen, a 69-year-old pet-sitter, told Salon.com this week that he’s getting phone calls and emails accusing him of fabricating his story.

One email read: “How are all those little students doing? You know, the ones that showed up at your house after the ’shooting.’ What is the going rate for getting involved in a government-sponsored hoax anyway?”

Police are investigating the harassment. Rosen, who also comforted a frantic mother who came to his door looking for her deceased child, told Salon he’s furious at anyone who believes in such an outrageous conspiracy theory.

“There must be some way to morally shame these people, [there isn't'; you can't morally shame people who have neither morals nor shame.]because there were 20 dead children lying an eighth of a mile from my window all night long,” he said.

“I am rageful about it, both for the children and for the mother of the child who came to my house looking for her son.”

Other Newtown conspiracy theorists allege there were four perpetrators from Israeli special forces, and that it wasn’t children who died, but a secret United Nations delegation.[there's almost always a subset of these ying yangs who come up with some Israeli angle...]

And with the 911 tapes from the day of the massacre just released today, and the one year anniversary just a few days away, you can bet the ranch that the renewed publicity focus will bring out a fresh round of abuse for the grieving families from the vicious nutcases accusing them of participating in a "hoax"...

Adebolajo told the jury: “I am a soldier and this is war.”

When asked what his defence was to the charge of murder, he said: “I’m a soldier of Allah and I understand that some people might not recognise this because we do not wear fatigues and we do not go to the Brecon Beacons and train and this sort of thing.”

As to any regrets, he told the court: “I will never regret obeying the command of Allah. That is all I can say. I’m a mujtahid, I’m a soldier, I’m doing what Allah commands me to do. I can’t do anything else.”

He said he had “no animosity or bad feelings” towards Fusilier Rigby’s family, adding: “Every soldier has a family, has a family who loves him, just like me.”

He said he was shocked at how long it took for Fusilier Rigby’s body to be buried. “It shocked me to the core. I thought surely he would be buried by now, because obviously he’s a soldier like myself, and in Islam we bury our deceased immediately,” he said.

Asked what should happen after the case, he said: “As an enemy soldier, I believe I should be ransomed to my mujtahid brothers. Or I should be set free, or I should be killed.”

In response to questions from David Gottlieb, defending, Adebolajo said he considered al-Qaeda to be Mujahideen, adding: “I love them, they’re my brothers. I have never met them. I consider them my brothers in Islam.”
Hang the bastard.

Absolutely right, as much as hanging him might give some satisfaction, it would also give him the twisted martyrdom he craves. Spurring on more nut jobs like him. I wish we could add a daily kick in the nutsack to his sentence though.

Not that there was any doubt.
Two men have been found guilty of murdering soldier Lee Rigby outside Woolwich barracks in south-east London in May.

Michael Adebolajo, 29, and Michael Adebowale, 22, struck Fusilier Rigby with a car before hacking him to death.

Adebolajo had claimed he was a "soldier of Allah" and the killing was an act of war.

The men were found not guilty of attempting to murder a police officer at the scene.
Now then, will the judge give them life without the chance of parole, the maximum available to him, or will they be given the usual lunatic UK sentence, (two years jail and a years probation?)

I'd prefer a shorter sentence....

10 mins on the end of a rope should do it.
