It was another quarter full of action (nothing like cricket match), but a sadder outcome for 49er fans among us.

And now a humble word or two from the Seahawks' spokesman...

It's sad what steroids do; and even sadder if that's not the excuse.

That was him being humble. You should see him when he's cocky!

Snowing now, what's the forecast for next week? Could make for pretty much the anti-Super Bowl.

The 10-day forecast isn't calling for any more snow past tomorrow, but it will stay cold here (highs generally in the mid to upper 20s) through next week. Plenty of time to get the roads and runways cleared.

The Superbowl isn't till a week from this coming Sunday...(Feb. 2nd)

There's always a two week break between the Conference Championships and the Super Bowl...

The better to allow for more hype time...

NJ? Haven't you heard, the Superbowl is in NY. Kind of like when the World Cup was in NY (and the US Postal Service issued a commemorative stamp for the Meadowland Stadium, NY.

NY/NJ, either way watch out. The best line for the two-week is: the two states that legalized pot are getting together for a "Super Bowl". ;)

People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right. The only difference is, they're wrong.

I laughed so hard at that it brought the dog and the husband into the room. I know, I am easily amused.
