That "Price Over the Last Year" graph looks a lot like the old NTSC television signal waveform. (missing Burst though)

It's £2.45 in Aldi. Always get standard yellow top from there.

The answer is simple. Drink more beer! If you drink more beer there will be more of the waste product which is the feedstock for marmite thus the supply will increase and the price will be driven down.
