What would the American bucket list be?

Walk across the Golden Gate bridge.
See the redwoods.
Visit Big Sur.
Have dinner at Commander's Palace.
Go to the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage festival.
Hike into the Grand Canyon.
See Yellowstone.
Stay at the Ahwanee Hotel in Yosemite.
Spend a week in Death Valley.
Hike to the top of Mount Whitney
Drive route 66 from L.A. to Chicago (or vice the versa).
Drive to Key West.
See Mauna Loa erupt.
Snorkel in Hawaii.
Go on a whale-watching sail off the California coast.
See the Dodgers play at Chavez Ravine.
Watch the river pilots climb onto the ships at Astoria Oregon.
Have a morning hike in Monument Valley.
See the cactus bloom in Anza-Borrego.
Water-ski on lake Powell.
Body Surf at the Wedge.

Others? ...

See the Browns in the Superbowl
See the Indians in the World (sic) Series
See the Cavs win a game

That way I figure I'd live forever

Good list, rube - though Californo-centric. I would add:

Bicycle in Acadia National Forest
See Biltmore (Asheville); compare with the Hurst Castle
Visit Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, Quebec City, and Vancouver
Spend a day or two at Colonial Williamsburg
Walk the entire river walk in San Antone
Go to the International Auto Show at Cobo in Detroit
Spend at least three days in our Nation's Capital - 1.5 days minimum at the Smithsonian
Dinner and a play in NYC, walk or jog through Central Park (some would add, take a carriage ride around the Park)
Lunch on seafood at Balto's Inner Harbor
Have a beer (or two) in Savannah, lunch on a sidewalk in Charlestown SC
Rent a Ferrari (or other exotic) at that place in Las Vegas, and make a fool of yourself
See a ballgame at either Camden Yards, Fenway, or PNC Park
Spend an afternoon and evening at South Beach (Miami)
Spend a couple days at Disney World/EPCOT, etc.
Visit Hawaii - any part.

I would add: drive U.S. Highway 20, 30, 40, or 50 all the way from coast to coast. (Even better, drive one of them from west to east and a different one back from east to west.)
