I had heard he went to the UK after his mother passed but not that he was back in the US. This might shock you, but I don't follow absolutely all of the details of your lives, hence the question.

"Missionary in Africa" is a physically and mentally rigorous occupation which has been taken up by a number of family and "extended" family working in health care and education. Most of them them retired from it in the later-middle years of life and came home to professions here. 1 "extended" family member is still at it but he is in the states most of the year and only goes to Ethiopia less than 1/2 the year.*

I was surprised that Meade took it up as a retirement occupation.

Who would admit to that?
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.

People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right. The only difference is, they're wrong.

Ah... forgot to change my location. Yes, back in the USA, Kent OH. Family reasons. The "Pops" event at Roosevelt High was (as ever) highly organized, expeditiously executed and performed at a high level - most enjoyable. It's all juniors and seniors in HS so they actually can sing and play. Unlike the little grade schools which are abominable. Three hours of Pops goes fast - three hours of teeny-weenies murdering unidentifiable tunes in between long exhibitions of herding sheep takes forever

(and I wouldn't admit to it)
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts
