I don't blame you mate.

Now watch what happens next... she'll be sober after a night in the cells and she'll get away with a caution because of the "deep pain" felt by her and her people which motivated the assault...

Now go and make your missus some brekkie! :)
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

I wish I could mate, but I'm at work :(

Hen was raised by her parents to have a respect for the abos. Her father did a lot of work on the land rights issue.

Hen's Xmas present to her mother last year was a photo, the original of which is held in the National Archives, of her dad working with a group of indigenous kids.

Sometimes you have to wonder why the fuck anyone bothers.

Gob. I want you to settle down right now and get some perspective.

DO NOT throw out the baby with the bath water.

What I mean to say is; this incident has NO baring upon Hen or the work that her or her father did for these peoples.

Seriously. It was just a crazy person. Plain and simple. Leave it at that. I hope that you calm down enough to realise this.

Yeah I know, I would want to throttle somebody to. But~

Don't make it worse. Just tend to the [/b]Hen[/b]. ok? 8-)
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

Timster said it.
A sufficiently copious dose of bombast drenched in verbose writing is lethal to the truth.

That's my take on it....

Probably made more crazy either by taking drugs they shouldn't, or not taking ones they should....

Or both...

Hen;

Glad you've come out of this reasonably intact.

Let us know how you're doing?

I got into a fight with a Native American once... long ago.

But I didn't think at the time that I was fighting against the Indian Nation.

Just one guy with a problem.

Get well soon, Hen.

And make sure law enforcement does its job.

Did you get shot with an arrow, Joe?

Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

I was lucky. The woman had two large sturdy clapping sticks with her. But she only used her fists.

I am felling MUCH better today. On a scale of 1 to 10 where 1 equals a piece of shit and 10 equals better than an Olympic athlete, I reckon I am a solid 5.5. :)

I gave my statement to the cops yesterday and I am now feeling so much better about everything. I am sure I won't have any lasting effects of the attack and I should be able to face up to the bus stop alone once more.
Bah!

You're both wrong.

My horse was scalped and my farm burnt to the ground by savages.

But I was particularly pissed off at the Apache who scratched the door of my truck with his spear so I slapped him in the face with a glove.

That's the woman I love.

When Hen said to me yesterday morning; "Ow, I'm hurt, FUCK THAT! I'm having her done by the cops!!" I could have cheered!!

Instead I just hugged her (gently).

He's deaf. He's sleep through it!
He sounds like me. I can sleep through ANYTHING...28lb cats walking on me, Liz climbing over me, phones, a barking St. Bernard, engines...alarm clocks. :(
Unless your coming home with multiple black eyes is a fairly normal occurrence in your household, I suspect he'll be more pissed that you didn't wake him up....

I would be...
I might be...though if Liz said she tried and I went back to sleep, I have to admit I would probably believe her.

Hope things turn out OK for you, Hen...and I suggest, at the least, pepper spray.

Shit like that is one reason I simply DON'T bother anymore. The vast majority of the human race just is not worth the effort.

Glad to hear it Hen....

Of course, now if you go out to a restaurant or a pub with Strop.....

Sporting two black eyes......people will naturally assume....

Like that old joke:

Q: "What do you say to a woman with two black eyes?"

A: "Nothing. She's already been told twice..."

Sorry, just couldn't resist.... 8-)

PS no one can out sleep my spouse. I have found him asleep under the car while ostensibly working on it, under the sink while ostensibly working on it, and on the toilet after getting up at night to go.
