The customised chopper Peter Fonda rode in 1969 film Easy Rider is expected to fetch more than $1 million (£613,000) when it goes up for auction next month.
The motorcycle is being sold by Michael Eisenberg, a California businessman who once co-owned a themed restaurant with Fonda and Rider co-star Dennis Hopper.
The actors played biker rebels in the 1960s release, now considered a counterculture classic.
California auction house Profiles in History will run the 18 October sale.
The 'Captain America' Harley-Davidson - a panhead chopper with a chromed hard-tail frame - is accompanied by three letters of authenticity.

Re: Captain America for sale
From what I remember, there were3 or 4 Captain America bikes used in the movie.
Nice bike but I'm not a fan of choppers. And I like having a brake on my front wheel.

I would think there would have had to be more than one bike as one of them was trashed at the end when (SPOILER ALERT) Peter Fonda was shot.
