OK, I'm nowhere near THAT bad...just when I do sleep, I sleep through ANYTHING. Today, I slept through Briza (16lbs of feline) walking on me.

You gotta practice your 'mean' face, Hen. That angry way of looking through people like they shouldn't mess wit'you! (My look downtown says, 'Even if you are big enough to pick up and throw me behind the dumpsters; I will claw and bite as many chunks of DNA outta you as possible, for the cops!)

I hope it's as easy to get there, as it is in the States. Here you can find it at the check-out stand of any Super Market.

Failing that, a sap works wonders (and is illegal in CA).

Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

There's always the option of a length of chain worn through the belt loops, with an ornate "buckle" providing a weight on the end. (But I'm sure that isn't legal, either.)

Or a telescoping 30" steel "idiot stick". (Neither is that, most likely.)

Pepper spray is illegal?

Wierd.

You could make your own. It would take a little work figuring out the exact formulation but its not hard to infuse oil with capsaisin by heating peppers or pepper seeds in it (gentle heat in a well ventilated area!). You might get a better effect by adding DMSO as a penetrating agent, it would carry the capsaisin through skin better. Maybe a little ethanol would help too. splash of detergent?

Just as a guess for a starting point I'd try 75% pepper-infused oil 15% DMSO and 10% Ethanol.

Use habaneros for the oil.

Put it in a small squirt gun and you're good to go.

It's illegal without a permit in some US states (Massachusetts, offhand), too.

In CA one needs only to buy in at 7-11 like a lotto ticket.
